The regulations in this part provide for the following kinds of service; and any one or more of the different services applicable to official plants may be rendered in an official plant:
Grading of ready-to-cook poultry and rabbits in an official plant or at other locations with adequate facilities.
Grading of specified poultry food products in official plants.
Auditing service. This type of service is performed when an applicant requests independent verification of written quality assurance and value added standards for production, processing, and distribution of poultry and rabbits. Charges or fees are based on time, travel, and expenses needed to perform the work.
