RCW 74.09.872 Behavioral health organizations—Access to chemical dependency and mental health professionals. (Effective until January 1, 2020.)
The director shall require that behavioral health organizations offer contracts to managed health care systems under chapter 74.09 RCW or primary care practice settings to promote access to the services of chemical dependency professionals under chapter 18.205 RCW and mental health professionals, as defined by the department of health in rule, for the purposes of integrating such services into primary care settings for individuals with behavioral health and medical comorbidities.
