RCW 50A.15.080 Child support obligations—Withholding.
If an employee owes child support obligations under RCW 50A.15.040 and the department determines that the employee is qualified for benefits, the department shall notify the applicable state or local child support enforcement agency and deduct and withhold an amount from benefits in a manner consistent with RCW 50.40.050. Consistent with RCW 50A.15.040(1)(c), the department may verify child support obligations with the department of social and health services.
