§ 10108. Mailing of notice
Any notice under this chapter may be given by mailing it to the person for whom it is intended in a postpaid envelope addressed to that person at the address given in a manifest or other report filed by that person or to the best address obtainable. The mailing of the notice shall be presumptive evidence of its receipt by the person to whom addressed. Any period of time which is determined under this chapter by the giving of notice shall commence to run from the date of mailing of the notice. (Added 1985, No. 70, § 7.)
