(1) In relation to the state central patient portal: (a) the department may only employ, as a state central patient portal medical provider: (i) a pharmacist who is licensed under Title 58, Chapter 17b, Pharmacy Practice Act; or (ii) a physician licensed under Title 58, Chapter 67, Utah Medical Practice Act, or Title 58, Chapter 68, Utah Osteopathic Medical Practice Act; and (b) if the department employs a state central patient portal medical provider, ensure that a state central patient portal medical provider is available during normal business hours.

(ii) a physician licensed under Title 58, Chapter 67, Utah Medical Practice Act, or Title 58, Chapter 68, Utah Osteopathic Medical Practice Act; and

(b) if the department employs a state central patient portal medical provider, ensure that a state central patient portal medical provider is available during normal business hours.

(2) A state central patient portal medical provider may: (a) provide consultations to medical cannabis cardholders and qualified medical providers; and (b) determine dosing parameters in accordance with Subsection 26-61a-502(5).
