(1) An assessment is imposed on each private hospital: (a) beginning upon the later of: (i) April 1, 2019; and (ii) CMS approval of the assessment under this chapter; (b) in the amount designated in Sections 26-36c-204 and 26-36c-205; and (c) in accordance with Section 26-36c-202.

(2) The assessment imposed by this chapter is due and payable in accordance with Subsection 26-36c-202(4).
