(1) An incorporation of a metro township, city, or town under this part is subject to the following provisions to the same extent as the incorporation of a city under Part 2, Incorporation of a Municipality: (a) Section 10-2a-217; (b) Section 10-2a-219; and (c) Section 10-2a-220.

(2) An incorporation of a city or town under this part is subject to Section 10-2a-218 to the same extent as the incorporation of a city or town under Part 2, Incorporation of a Municipality.
