(1) If the annexation of an unincorporated island into an eligible city passes, the legislative body of the eligible city shall comply with Section 10-2-425.
(2) The following provisions apply to an annexation under this part: (a) Section 10-2-420; (b) Section 10-2-421; (c) Section 10-2-422; (d) Section 10-2-426; and (e) Section 10-2-428.
