§ 39-16-6. Compensation of members and agents. Each member of the board shall receive an annual salary not to exceed three thousand dollars ($3,000) per year, and shall be entitled to reimbursement of his or her actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of his or her official duties. The salaries, compensation, and expenses of all members, officers, employees, and agents shall be paid solely out of the funds of the authority. No part of the earnings of the authority shall inure to the benefit of any private person.
