§ 35-4-4.2. State Linked Deposit Policy - Legislative purpose. The purpose of §§ 35-4-4.1 - 35-4-4.6 is to increase the availability of capital and banking services in low and moderate income neighborhoods of Rhode Island by using state deposits as an incentive. Sections 35-4-4.1 - 35-4-4.6 uses the federal evaluation of CRA performance in helping the state decide where to deposit its funds.
