In making agreements or provisions, a local government shall not obligate itself except with respect to the project and the application of the revenues and revenue bond proceeds from the project.

The 2018 amendment, effective May 16, 2018, extended the powers and duties as identified in the Metropolitan Redevelopment Code from only municipalities to now include counties, and made technical changes; and after "agreement or provisions, a", deleted "municipality" and added "local government".
