Provisions of the Ski Safety Act are in lieu of all other regulations, registration or licensing requirements for ski areas, ski lifts and tramways. Ski lifts and tramways shall not be construed to be common carriers within the meaning of the laws of New Mexico.

Skier as third party beneficiary of permit between United States and ski resort. — The dismissal of an injured skier's claim that she was a third party beneficiary under the terms of the permit between the United States and the ski resort was proper since the Ski Safety Act provided the exclusive remedy available to the skier.
