Penalty for violations. — Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter or of sections 307.020 to 307.295, for which no specific punishment is provided, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars nor more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
