Section 565.492 Conveyance Made Under Court Order; Indexing, Record as Evidence.

Sec. 2.

When a deed or other conveyance made by an executor, administrator, guardian, commissioner, sheriff, marshal or person acting under authority of an order of court, is left for record, the register of deeds shall enter in the indexes of the officer or person the names of the testators, wards or persons who owned the estate, and from whom it passes when the same appear by such deed, and also the name of such executor, administrator, guardian, commissioner, sheriff, marshal, or other person executing the same; and when a decree or order for the partition of land, or the commissioner return thereof, is so left for record, the register shall enter in the indexes the names of all the persons whose estates plainly appear to be affected thereby. And all such deeds, the record, or a certified copy of such record, shall be in all courts and places prima facie evidence of the regularity of all the proceedings required by law anterior to such deeds, and of the authority of the grantor therein named to execute such deed or deeds.
