Section 66. Whoever willfully obstructs, interferes with or hinders an officer or enlisted person while on duty or at any parade, drill or assembly for military purposes may be detained at the discretion of the commanding officer and delivered into the custody of a police officer for examination or trial before a court having jurisdiction. A violation of this section, section 65 or 123 or an individual who obstructs or interferes with the armed forces of the United States or any part of the armed forces of the commonwealth in the exercise or enjoyment of the right of way granted by section 50 shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment in a house of correction for not less than 30 days nor more than 21/2 years or by imprisonment in the state prison for not more than 5 years, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
