525.205 Assault on a service animal in the second degree. (1) A person is guilty of assault on a service animal in the second degree when he intentionally and without legal justification or lawful authority causes physical injury to a service animal. (2) Assault on a service animal in the second degree is a Class B misdemeanor. Effective: July 15, 1998 History: Created 1998 Ky. Acts ch. 419, sec. 3, effective July 15, 1998.
