(45 ILCS 45/1) (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 50-21) Sec. 1. The State of Illinois ratifies and approves the following compact:

(45 ILCS 45/2) (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 50-22) Sec. 2. The Department of Human Services and the Department of Corrections, pursuant to Article III of the compact, may each negotiate, enter into and perform contracts on behalf of this State. (Source: P.A. 89-507, eff. 7-1-97.)
