Nothing in this article shall be construed to authorize an occupational therapist to engage in the practice of medicine, as defined in section 12-36-106; physical therapy, as defined in article 41 of this title; vision therapy services or low vision rehabilitation services, except under the referral, prescription, supervision, or comanagement of an ophthalmologist or optometrist; or any other form of healing except as authorized by this article.
