THIS SECTION WAS AMENDED BY ACT 2018-516 IN THE 2018 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE APRIL 4, 2018. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT.
(a) The Chair of the Jackson County Commission shall receive an annual salary as provided by current law. The amount shall be paid in equal biweekly installments from the general fund in the county treasury.
(b) The chair of the county commission shall serve full-time.
