FSA will publish a Notice of Intent to prepare an EIS in the Federal Register and, depending on the scope of the proposed action, may publish a notice in other media.
The notice will include the following:
A description of the proposed action and possible alternatives;
A description of FSA's proposed scoping process, including information about any public meetings; and
The name of an FSA point of contact who can receive input and answer questions about the proposed action and the preparation of the EIS.
