Employees electing to credit NAFI service under this subpart must:
Inform the NAFI retirement plan that they are electing to credit NAFI service for CSRS or FERS retirement eligibility;
Document the election on a form prescribed by OPM; and
Submit the election with their application for immediate retirement.
