Conditions of use—(1) Amount. 3 micrograms per kilogram (1.36 micrograms per pound) of body weight.
Indications for use. To prevent infection by the canine heartworm Dirofilaria immitis and the subsequent development of canine heartworm disease.
Limitations. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
