Potential adverse actions against a third party conformity assessment body include:
Denial of Acceptance of Accreditation;
Suspension of Acceptance of Accreditation; or
Withdrawal of Acceptance of Accreditation.
Withdrawal of acceptance of accreditation can be on a temporary or permanent basis, and the CPSC may immediately withdraw its acceptance in accordance with § 1112.53.
