“By virtue of an execution issued by the clerk of the circuit court of ____ county, on the ____ day of ____, A.D. ____, returnable before said court on the ____ Monday of ____, A.D. ____, to enforce the judgment of said court, rendered on the ____ day of ____, A.D. ____, in favor of ____ against ____, for ____ dollars, and costs, I, as sheriff of ____ county, have this day, according to law, sold the following lands, to wit: [here describe the land]; when ____ became the best bidder therefor at the sum of ____ dollars, and he having paid said sum of money, I now convey said land to him.
