(1) that each domesticated elk, including gametes, eggs, or sperm, imported into the state: (a) test negative for the red deer genetic factor; (b) be registered with gold or silver status with the North American Elk Breeders Association; or (c) come from a state which has a red deer genetic factor prevention program approved by the department; and
(a) test negative for the red deer genetic factor;
(b) be registered with gold or silver status with the North American Elk Breeders Association; or
(c) come from a state which has a red deer genetic factor prevention program approved by the department; and
(2) proof that the domesticated elk originates from a legal source as provided in Section 4-39-302.
