(2) All income earned on moneys in the Wage Security Fund, and all other moneys in the fund, are appropriated continuously to the Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries primarily to carry out the provisions of ORS 652.414. Moneys in the fund may also be used, within the division of the Bureau of Labor and Industries that enforces wage and hour laws, to investigate and enforce claims of underpaid and unpaid wages under this chapter and ORS chapter 653.
