In order to provide information in the specific interest of the traveling public, the commission may authorize outdoor advertising at safety rest areas and at information centers.

Regulation deemed proper exercise of police power. — The regulation of outdoor advertising along interstate and primary highways is a reasonable and proper exercise of the police power.
