Except as otherwise provided in NRS 582.029, to act as a public weighmaster, a person must receive a license from the State Sealer of Consumer Equitability. To qualify for a license, a person must:
1. Be able to weigh and measure accurately;
2. Be able to generate correct certificates of weights and measures; and
3. Possess such other qualifications as required by the regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter.
