423.070 Commissioners of foreign deeds -- Appointment, term. (Repealed Effective until January 1, 2020) The Governor may appoint and commission one (1) or more commissioners of deeds in each state of the United States for a term of two (2) years. Before entering on the duties of his office, each commissioner shall make and subscribe an affidavit, before an officer authorized to administer an oath, to well and truly execute and perform all the duties of his office.
