279.150 Other electric companies required to sell electric energy to cooperatives. No person engaged in the business of producing, selling or distributing electric energy for public use in this state shall refuse to furnish electric energy to any corporation organized under this chapter, if the corporation is able and willing to pay the same rates for such energy as are paid by other consumers in the same territory using a comparable amount of energy. This section does not forbid a discrimination based on the load factor or diversity factor. Effective: October 1, 1942 History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
